6 Reasons you’ll fall for Thiago Santana

Thiago by Delaney Diamond

Thiago Santana is the hero of my next release, Thiago. He’s ruthless in the boardroom, uncompromising in his decisions, and convinced love is a distraction he doesn’t need.

He sounds like a real a-hole, doesn’t he? He is, but I think you’ll fall for him nonetheless, just like India Monroe did. Below are the reasons why.

1. He loves hard.

Thiago doesn’t do anything halfway, and even before he realized he was in love with India, he fought to have her to himself with the same intensity he uses to run Santana International.

2. He looks dangerously good in a suit.

Frankly, he looks good in anything, but India loves him in a three-piece suit, and honestly, I can’t blame her.

She especially liked him in three-piece suits. Something about the fit turned her on. His tie was perfectly knotted, and the cut was razor-sharp, tailored to his broad shoulders and muscular frame with almost unfair precision. The vest hugged his torso like it had been stitched onto him, emphasizing the flatness of his stomach, while the jacket added timeless elegance.

3. He has a jealous streak a mile wide.

Thiago does not want to share India’s attention or her time. It’s a little endearing to see someone so confident suffer from the green-eyed monster like a normal person. Every man has his weakness, and his is India.

4. If he loves you, he’ll protect you.

Of course this protection applies to India, but you’ll also see the way he takes care of his mother. Valentina is… a problem, but she’s still his mother. Nobody messes with his mother.

5. He doesn’t play games.

Thiago is blunt and forthright, but at least you’ll always know where you stand with him. He says what he means and means what he says, and he doesn’t mince words.

He waited in the silence for her to respond.

Finally, India stood, straightening to her full height. “I am not the property of any man—”

“Spare me the feminist bullsh&t. I’m not sharing you, and that’s final.”

6. He pays attention.

Behind the tough exterior is a man who pays attention to the details. On more than one occasion, he surprised India with the way he cared for her. “It’s the little things,” we always say, and Thiago handles the little things. Sure, he could perform a grand gesture—and he does—but the small moments when he pays attention are equally powerful.

“We will be in the air shortly,” the flight attendant said, placing their drinks before them.

After she was gone, India turned to Thiago. “Tea for me?”

“It’s the herbal tea you drink,” he answered.

Her eyebrows lifted higher. “How did you… you ordered the tea I like?”

“Of course. I saw the box in the cabinet at your apartment.”

“You didn’t have to do that, but… thank you,” she said quietly.

“You’re welcome.”

When you read the novel, you might compile your own list of reasons to fall for Thiago. Can’t wait to see what you think after the September 26th release. 😉

Which of these 6 reasons would make you fall first for Thiago?

Thiago

A no-strings workplace affair spirals into a tug-of-war of emotions.

Thiago Santana didn’t claw his way to the top of Santana International to get sidetracked by love. As CEO, he’s driven and focused, taking his only break on Friday nights when he indulges in the one temptation he can’t resist: his VP of marketing. But when she starts canceling their meetings, it throws his carefully constructed life into chaos.

India Monroe has always played by her own rules. Sharp, independent, and very ambitious, she has never needed anything beyond her no-strings arrangement with Thiago. But a health scare jolts her into wanting more—more time, more emotion, more commitment.

Now their relationship has changed. Every touch carries tension. Every glance holds a question. If neither surrenders, they might lose the one thing they never meant to risk at all: each other.

THOSE LINES won me over! Us ladies sometimes have to get out of our heads and let are men be men.
If ONLY men would be upfront and tell us what THEY want instead of what WE want to hear. I look forward to meeting that man😁
    Happy Hump Day, Delaney!

  2. Absolutely all of them. I like when he asserts that he is not sharing her with anyone. He took a bit of control and I kind of liked it.
